C&MA Men Announce Plan for 2008 The purpose of C&MA Men’s Ministry is to strengthen our local churches by discipling men. The national leadership team supports this mission by providing tools for district and local church leadership teams, organizing construction teams to support the construction needs of churches, conference centers and camps; and supporting the needs of Alliance mission fields. Our budget for carrying out these ministries for 2008 is $28,100. We are in a battle for the souls of men. We focus on evangelism, discipling and service. Jesus invested in the lives of twelve men and they changed the world. George Barna’s data illustrates the crucial role men play in the health of our churches. C&MA Men receive support from the voluntary gifts of districts and individuals. The ministry does not receive support from the Great Commission Fund. Send your contributions to C&MA Men, P.O. Box 518, Linwood, NC 27299. Go to Action 2008 on our website for more details on our plans and goals for the coming year. |

C&MA Men rolled out a new project ministry at the 2007 C&MA General Council. Vance Bartleson (Pacific Northwest District) has been appointed to coordinate this ministry. He is looking for regional representatives to serve on the ACT coordination team. "Our intent is to reduce the cost of construction projects for churches and conference centers," said Bartleson. He also indicated that through the ministry, men will grow in the Lord through fellowship, mentoring, and daily devotions during projects and will reach others for Christ by example and word. Churches or camps needing assistance should plan their needs well in advance so that ACT can organize work teams. Go to www.cmamen.org/act to download the participant applications and requests for ACT services. For more information, contact Vance at
